Privacy

In short

Acontece Bem uses no advertising or analytics cookies and asks its readers for no personal data.

Who is responsible

The data controller is Firmitas (firmitas.pt). For any question about your data, write to [email protected].

Visits to the site

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any server, it logs technical request data, such as the IP address, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use that data to identify you.

Visitor statistics

To know how many visits the site gets, we use Cloudflare's statistics service (Cloudflare Web Analytics), in aggregate numbers: which pages are viewed, which site each visit comes from, the country, the type of device, the browser and how long pages take to load. A small Cloudflare script sends these measurements when the page finishes loading. It stores nothing on your device (no cookies, no local storage) and builds no profile of you: Cloudflare states that this service collects no personal data from visitors and does not follow them from one site to another.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used without identifying who visits it (article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation).

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its correction or its erasure, withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting processing already done) and object to processing. Just write to [email protected]. If you think your data was not handled properly, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (cnpd.pt).
